We are proud to announce
that The Red Arrow Diner in Manchester won the first ever Hippo de
Mayo Taco Challenge! The event was organized and sponsored by
Hippo Press. There were over 35 tacos being served in downtown
Manchester and Moe's Buffalo Chicken taco was awarded the top prize
by voters. The Hippo asked each establishment that
participated to pick a charity that would receive the $2,000 prize.
We are excited to have chosen Challenger Sports, a non-profit
organization developed in 1997 by a group of parents who wanted to
provide their special needs children, and other challenged
individuals, the opportunity to enjoy the unique benefits of being
involved in organized non-competitive sports and other social
activities.
