Grief Support After the Death
of a Child
The mission
of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the
positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of
any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.
The Compassionate
Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization
that offers friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved
parents, grandparents and siblings. There is no
religious affiliation and there are no membership dues or fees.
Elizabeth Edwards, Wades Mom she was
the keynote speaker and she was amazing!
This is our Manchester chapter that
attended the conference... There were 1,600 people that
attended the conference.

Walk to Remember...Words cannot describe it!
Compassionate Friends National Walk to Remember...It was
aweseome!!!
On the walk to remember, we passed
right by the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial!! WOW-- what
an experience! Once again, words cannot describe it! For
something so awful-- that something so beautiful can
come of it-- is just amazing!! This picture shows the
'Field Of Empty Chairs' representing each person that
died that day.
This is the original Memorial Wall--
which is still kept up since the day of the bombing!!
